I may be in trouble for posting this, but the Camaro5 enthusiasts will spot it in the next in the next 10 days... All three of the 2001 Camaro Daytona 500 INDY Pace Cars are running GMPP Licensed Supercar Coilovers. The 'spy' photos were taken before the Supercars were installed.

I will issue a $250 Pedders Gift Certificate to the first Camaro5 member to post a picture of the Supercars on the Daytona 500 Pace Cars!

I don't think it would be right if the 100th Indy 500 pace car didn't have the best suspension parts on it.Pedders offers a very nice pace car package for the camaro.

To be blunt, the people at GM came to use Pedders Xa coilovers because they were having trouble with shortened coils falling out of the seats when show cars were lifted. Pedders screw in or out of the lower mount height adjustment is the perfect solution. In essence the reason for purchase is to get the right look for the designer.

Pedders always delivers more than we promise and in this case the damping and spring rates deliver a performance increase in addition to the look. I believe GM continues to use Pedders on project vehicles like the Z Spec Cruse and Z Spec Sonic because of our personal commitment to provide service. Our goal at GM is to be a preferred vendor that is greeted with a smile whenever we visit a GM facility because we make their job easier. It is no different than our goal with a retail customer. Service before the sale. Service during the sales. A lifetime of support after the sale.

It always comes down to SEGs. The last time I left a GM facility everyone I worked with was wearing an SEG and that includes me. If and when GM calls about Indy Pace Cars we are ready to meet their needs.

The Pace cars are all over the tube, but no one has claimed the $250 with a picture.

Pete I have looked all over the web, lots of pics of the car but not one of the coilovers.

I will keep hunting, if I win willing to donate it to a worthy cause, like one of our Soldiers.
