Photo Request: Borla ATAK Catback w/ Stock Ground Effects - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Can someone link me or post a photo of the back end of your car equipped with the Borla ATAK catback? I am curious as to what the tips look like, if they are square, round, chrome, bare metal, how far back into the ground effects 'holes' for the exhaust, etc.

I have yet to find any photos online clearly showing me what I am trying to see.

Also, any recommendations as to where to buy this online. I am in Canada so if it's coming from the states, which is fine, I am hoping to find someone that doesn't ship with UPS, FedEx or any other 'brokerage' hounds.

It seems you're set on borla, so you can get the MBRP tips to go with it. The tips are $300 a pair, from what I've seen. I just installed the MBRP catback system a cuple of weeks ago.

With the MBRP system, I just had to sinch the pipes back a bit before tightening, but got the tips even with the ground effects. You may have to cut a bit if you were to add the tips to a defferent system, don't know. I found the MBRP system, T304 - part# S7022304, on thefind.com for a little over $900. They look great and sound good too.

Out of curiosity, I tried to find it on thefind.com, but did'nt see it. I purchased it from AutoPartsDealer.com for $928.

Not interested at all in MBRP. I had it for my Ford Focus way back, great sounding exhaust but it's not what I am looking for, for my Camaro.

The Borla setup with the OEM ground effects has the tips not-visible to take into account the silver trim on the rear lip. I am not looking for different tips or anything of the like, just want to see an actual photo of the opening to see what the ATAK tips look like.

Those MBRP tips look good on the ground effects. The Borla catback makes the back end appear to have the entire thing open, at least from the YouTube videos.

If anyone has this catback and the OEM ground effects can you please post up a picture, thanks again.

That is the ATAK for use with factory ground effects. The round "tips" just sit inside the openings in the ground effects. They are very low key.
