FS: FORGELINE VR3P's w/ tires and sensors

SOLD!!!!!!!!!

Considering selling these if there is a definite interest...quickly (summer is coming)!

- Forgeline VR3P
- All Four Wheels are 20 x 9.5, +33 offset, 5 x 120mm bolt pattern
- Diamond Cut Finish on Matte Black
- Polished Outer Rim
- Forgeline TPMS Sensor Mount and required adapters included.
- Retail on just the wheels alone from Forgeline is $5588.00 (new).

- Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport (Run Flat Technology)
- All Four Tires are 275/40R20 (106W)
- Retail on the tires from TireRack.com is $1104.00 (new).

So that is $6692.00 worth of wheels and tires. Granted these are used, which is why I would be willing to sell this entire package for $3800 shipped (within the Continental U.S.). Price is FIRM.

The OEM TPMS Sensors from my 2010 SS are installed in the wheels and will be included with the sale. All four of these have been mounted and "ROAD FORCE BALANCED" (cost $140) and are ready to install. When I first got these, I did a test fit on my car and decided I was uncomfortable with how close the spokes were to my brake calipers (there was only about a 1mm space). That is not an issue of the offset, but rather the design of the mounting pad height. So I had CUSTOM HUBCENTRIC SPACERS made (cost $180) for all four corners, which will also be included with the sale. The front spacers are 5mm (0.19") thick, and the rear spacers are 6mm (0.23") thick. So all spacers are less than 1/4". Most people will say that you do not need longer wheel studs with spacers less than 1/4". However, I had a couple of my rear gorilla locks start to feel like they were stripping out when I tried to torque them down to 140 ft-lbs. So, I would "recommend" that you change out the studs to give the lug nuts some more threads to bite on to. I have already purchased 20 each longer GM Studs (P/N 11588810), and was planning on swapping them out. But if these wheels sell, I will include the new longer studs with the sale. At $6 a piece, that's $120 worth of GM studs!!

I have not even driven on these wheels/tires. I just bought them (used) in December and have only done test fitting in the garage since then. Roads are still too snowy/icy up here to take my car out. The pics below are professional pictures taken by the guy I bought them from. These are THE wheels/tires you will be receiving. My only reason for considering selling these is I'm thinking about taking my car in a different direction (Fatty/Skinny 17's) instead. I just love those new Weld Wheels that came out!!! Maybe I'm stupid for selling Forgelines to buy Weld Wheels...maybe so!!! But if you want these, please let me know soon before I start changing out the studs and decide to just keep them!!! I will try to post up some pics of them mounted on the car soon.

Okay, so maybe the price isn't quite so firm! Bump and Price Drop to $3500. Pics on the car will be posted this weekend (if we don't get snowed in again).

What kind of brakes did you have? Were they the stock brembro, or aftermarket? How close are the valve stems to the calipers? I still have the factory pads on my SS with the "roller skates" style pads.

My SS has the completely stock Brembo system (the early version w/o the roller skates). I would assume since these wheels are 20" diameter (like the stock wheels) that they would NOT have any clearance issues with the valve stem or the roller skates. Looks like there is plenty of room between the I.D. of the wheel and the O.D. of the caliper. I'll get you some pictures of this area posted up this weekend.

More Pictures as promised....

Okay, here's some pictures of these wheels mounted on my car. The wheels are dirty and do need to be cleaned up with some soap and water, but since it was 10 degrees today, I figured I'd skip that for now. But at least ya'll can get an idea of what they look like on the car. As you can see, with the spacers installed, there is now plenty of room between the spokes and the calipers. Also, as previously asked, there is at least 1-1/2 to 2 inches of space between the outer caliper and the inner wheel, plenty of space for the "roller skates" and the valve stem on the wheel.

The 10 feet I backed out of the drive is now the most I've driven on these wheels. I must admit, after seeing them mounted and out of the garage, I'm having some serious second thoughts about selling them, they look so awesome!!! It would not break my heart to just keep them if no one shows any real interest very soon. The price won't be lowered any more, so if interested, please let me know very soon.

Please note, my suspension and brake system is completely stock.

Man they do look really good. Is there ant scratches or dings on any of them? I'm looking to get rims for my car. I like these ones. I'll let you know if I want to get them.

No scratches or dings on any of them. Like I said, they do need a good scrubbing/washing, but I have not found any physical defects on any of them. Man, I don't know what to do here!! I'm on the fence between these and the new Weld Wheels. The more I look at these, the more I like them. But then again, that Fatty/Skinny "Drag" look is pretty awesome too!! I have a feeling these won't be for sale much longer!!!
