Newbie - hey all...

Hey guys,

My name is Nick and I've just joined this forum!

The car in my signature is the Mustang I bought in 2005, sold it a year ago and regretted it ever since. I crave a muscle car again and will be buying either a Camaro or Challenger early next year (6-9 months old).

Pretty much sure I will be buying an SS2/RS but keep changing my mind and thinking maybe a V6 would be ok.

With the V6/LT2 - anyone have an idea of the sound of exhaust compared to a 2005 Mustang GT??? I am really focused on the exhaust and loved the GT sound.

Thanks all

Nick

Welcome to the site. Can't help much with the exhaust question.

Welcome! I too cannot give you a definitive answer about the exhaust, but it should be just a tad quieter and a notch less "throatier" on the V6. Still impressive, but it won't shake your windows when you pull into the driveway (which the neighbors will appreciate).

So how about the SS compared to a Mustang GT (2005) - anyone think the SS will have a better sounding exhaust or about the same?!

Welcome, and hope you choose the camaro. Just seen in person today, and it is in a class of it own IMO.

Nice car. The rims a bit too chromed for my taste though.

Welcome dude!

Thanks bud - loved them at the time but I wouldn't go for that much chrome effect myself now.

You importing a Camaro to Sweden?

Well we all make decisions that we second guess later on. That being said I quite like the design of those rims.

And yes, sort of. There is one dealership that specialises in importing cars that I've been looking at over the last year or so, they are the biggest retailer of Mustangs in the country and is building up a bit with the Challenger as well, plus seems to be pretty knowledgeable about the Camaro. Only bad thing is that what with the economy being as it is the Swedish Crown (our currency) is kind of low and thus if I ordered a Camaro 2SS from the right now it would cost me about 58K USD. I'm hoping our currency gets stronger before I am to order in a year or so.
