Speaker Wire

Has anyone rewired their vehicle with new speaker wire? I am considering upgrading to 12 ~ 14 ga wire. Obviously the rear is cake, the front on the other hand is going to be a challenge given the tweets.

Anyone?
Cheers

Power and length of each run are going to be your concerns... IMO - bigger is better. I am running 12-ga to my fronts and subs, which is probably overkill... I could easily use 14-ga to my fronts and probably to my subs as well but would prefer to not add any resistance to the amp load from speaker wire.

Top-
How did you get the speaker wire up to the fronts? I assume I can run the wire down the side of the car, as I believe power is in the center. However once I get to the door how did you get from the car over to the door? I understand there is a molex connection you have to get through? How did you keep it sealed up?
Cheers

lol - I havent yet... I am still deadening. I spent the last 10 days in the hospital and am just now able to be up and around - so progress has been stalled for a few weeks.
