WTB: Heated Side View Mirror Parts
If you have a damaged side view mirror from your 2010 or 2011 Camaro that has heated mirrors, I'd love to buy the wiring harness from your now broken mirror(s).
I'm trying to add heated mirrors to my 2010 Camaro 1SS and GM does not sell just the wiring harness from the side view mirrors. I've been able to purchase the heated mirror glass pieces for both sides at a very inexpensive price, but I still need the wiring harness that goes from the mirror assembly to the door connector. If you want to make a little cash from your now damaged side view mirror(s) (any color), please let me know. Thanks! Robert

I found a fellow camaro5 member that was willing to send me their passenger side harness from their broken passenger side mirror.
One down, one to go. If anyone has a broken driver's side mirror with the heated mirror feature, I'm still interested in obtaining the wiring harness from your broken mirror. Thanks!

Thanks to MickGIS and Inferno2SS for making it possible to get the side mirror wiring harnesses from a 2SS.
I have successfully upgraded my 1SS with heated side view mirrors. One thing I did notice is that the driver's side mirror does not auto dim like it should. The mirror glass I have upgraded my side view mirrors with is from a 2SS so they're heated and the driver's side is auto dimming. It may be due to one of two things, the LCD mirror [for the backup camera] and harness I purchased from 2SSRS (not likely) or the fact that I have a 1SS and the BCM does not turn on power to darken the driver's side view mirror when it gets a signal from the mirror that it has gone into auto dimming mode. My main objective was to get heated side view mirrors installed on my 1SS and I was able to get it done with a fairly low amount of cash to boot! ![]() Again a special thank you to MickGIS and Inferno2SS! -- Robert

More info on the auto dimming driver's side mirror feature not working.
It appears that my 1SS (likely any LS/1LT) have some wires not included in a couple of the wiring harnesses if the car is not supplied with auto dimming mirrors from the factory. I cannot imagine it's any cheaper to stock/maintain at least two versions of a particular harnesses (2LT/2SS and everything else) than it would be for GM to have one harness with all of the wires present. ![]() I'm getting some greatly appreciated assistance from 2SSRS (Ofer) in getting a revised LCD / backup camera mirror harness that will include the two wires missing from a couple of the GM harnesses that I will run along with the camera power wire down the A-pillar and then into the X207 connector on the left side kick panel area. That's where the wires from the mirror/door come into the car and then just "stop". At least there's a chance I can get this feature working too. Thanks Ofer! (2SSRS).
