ZL1's Carbon Fiber Hood Clear Finish Option Vote

Do you want a natural carbon fiber finish on the hood heat extractor as an option to the matte black finish shown on the show car at Chicago Auto Show?

VOTE:

1. Yes, I want a natural finish option.

2. No, I do not want a natural finish option.

I think I would prefer the natural CF over the vinyl black tape. The CF is beautiful and unique, show it off.

I think it was stated on here that the reason it might not be offered this way was because the extreme cost of the clear the covers it. I voted yes.. And would pay the extra to have it this way.

I voted yes for the option, but I'd probably choose for paint if I was buying.

This is what I was thinking. ZR1 uses a clearcoat that's like $60K a quart, or something CRAZY!!! I would be interested if the cost has been reduced though

I think the matte finish provides a better offset look than a finished look would.
