keys

Can you get a normal key made for these cars? I still like to hide a key somewhere under the car. Old habit I guess

The part that flips out you can purchase seperately. And use that to unlock the door if that's what your asking.

You can. But I would go to the dealer and purchase the keyed part alone and get it cut. Why risk ruining a fob?? An entire new fob is like 56 bucks so the key part should be pretty cheap. I know I got the dealer to give me a key part with my 2008 Saturn astra and the saturn key is identical to the camaro key.

i have been looking for a new uncut blade for a 3rd (spare) fob. NOBODY local can find one for me, dealerships, locksmiths, no-one... so if anyone has a source for getting just an extra blade for a fob...PLEASE let me know!

Try searching for a 2008 Saturn astra. NOT aura. Takes the same blade. Just measured it to my old Saturn key.

There are plaenty of them on ebay, but they are all about the same price as the dealer. better to go to the dealer and just get what you need first hand.
