Why did you choose the Camaro?
If the 5th generation Camaro is your very first Camaro, then WHY did you choose Camaro out of so many cars out there?

Upon outgrowing Honda Civic Si's, I decided to upgrade to the Nissan 370Z but it was too small inside. For the same price I could get the 2010 Camaro with a V8 and a way better looking body and bigger interior.

The great price-to-looks ratio! No other car comes close. This was the first car that I fell in love with since 1988!

My only other camaro was a firebird and an utter hunk of shit I paid 400 bucks for as a winter beater. I guess this qualifies as my first camaro. I loved the look and what sold me was the tiny side windows and how I felt when driving it. For me the camaro is an awesome experience to drive it.

This car is so different from others...I get thumbs up all the time I'm on the road or shopping malls...my friends are crasy about the looks, I even a nearby neighbour that owns a $100,000 suv that will go one corner more just to pass by my Gen5 in my driveway every day just to take a peak at it. Man, Camaros where out of the road for 8 years and people always like this car, now that they are back and the looks is so great, well, they show their appreciation. This is the most beautifull 21st century production car. I've been a Corvette guy for many years, but when I saw the first pics of the upcoming Gen5 I waited 4 years not buying a Vette just to have the New Camaro.

Invoked the feeling of the 1st Gen (without being a copy).
I was very impressed with the build quality and driving dynamics. Vastly superior to the 3rd & 4th Gens. |
