But went ahead and purchased a 2011 2SS RS, Summit White/Orange interior with Orange stripes and polished 20's. The car is currently in Houston, to be delivered to San Antonio tomorrow, hopefully.

I've already got plans to Pedderize, add a blower/headers/cam very shortly. Ordered the MGW short throw shifter this evening.

If I had the means for a ZL1 I would have waited. Even though your SS will put down the power and walk the walk. It wont be a ZL1.

Goto a car show with a supercharged SS and park next to a ZL1 and see which ones gets the getting.

But if you could swing 55k for a ZL1 then you have the means to sell your SS and not give a damn anyways and the Zl1. So

I did want the ZL1, but I know that the dealers are gonna mark'em up like krazy. Plus, it's kinda fun doing it your own way too. The mag suspension spoiled my plans to drop her down a little bit, I'm sure the handling benefit will pay off though.
