well i decided to start a new thread as we added the HE 9" conversion also to this build. the 9" just shipped out yesterday and most of the trans parts are here. While its down we are also going to to a cogs overdriven swap on the rear of the blower, and a full stereo system.

Car before tear down was 664 RWHP through the stock 6l80
TVS 2300
ETMC STG CAM
STG 2.5 heads
ARH headers
CORSA axleback
Rotofab CAI

Parts are starting to come in for this build and we are getting super excited to say the least!

Here is a pic of the TCI FP/the new RPM 4l80 transmission.

other parts on the way is the TCI trans control box
Edge Racing 4l80 stall converter
the HE 9" kit
Strange center section with 3.50 gears

i will up date this thread as the work goes on

Awesome!! Subscribed, I have been trying to see what it would take to convert my TR6060 to 4l80E transmission. I have searched several forms with no luck.

alot of fricken work..lol ive been drilling spot welds for two days. the trans tunnel is to small and you have to remove alot of it......

You have to take out some of the support as the 4l80 is alot wider than the 6l80.
