To tune or not to tune.

I plan on doing these upgrade at the same time, but was wondering if I should most definitly get a tune right after I do these upgrades or is it something I can wait on? This is a Daily driver.

Vararam CAI (will get the tune model if I need a tune after upgrades)
VMAX throttle body.
Kooks LT Headers
Cherry bomb full exhaust kit
CAT delete

Thanks in advance

I installed ARH LT headers, borla exhaust and new era intake when my car only had 50 miles on it and a 1-1/2 later I finally got my tune yesterday. Feels like a whole new car now. Before the tune it ran fine without a problem, you will get CEL light with the LT headers but that was no biggie for me.

It's entirely up to you when you want to do it.....if you worried about warranty with the tune thats entirely up to and another story.

You will definitely get the most out of your parts with the tune. I have the M6 which has a little torque management but with the A6 transmission tune you'll really feel like you have a new car from what I heard.

Camaro tuner in Tampa. GTO tuner in Tampa. Truck tuner in Tampa. Corvette tuner

www.TampaTuning.com

If the question is will you "need" a tune for your car to work, No.

Yes you'll throw codes everytime you use the car, but the car will get you there and back everytime.

After dropping $3000 grand in performance parts will you want a tune to marry them up and get the most out of your car, Yes you will want a tune and love it afterwards.

You can do all your bolt ons, and still feel like you didnt gain much from the investment. You wont say that after a tune.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.
