Drag wheels setup

I saw a setup i liked on the lingenfelter camaro. they were using v6 brakes and had 17x4 on the fronts and 16X10 in the back on some ccw classics.
i was wondering what the reason for running a reverse staggered fit on it was?

Tire selection was the primary reason.
