IMPORTANT NEWBY QUESTIONS
ok i just bought a 2010 camaro ss with rs package. first camaro ever, first CAR ever, always owned trucks and took the leap and cant stop smiling. and i have a couple questions.
so finally to the questions! 1. what is sum feed back on Texas-Speed & performance if any? 2. here is the links to the parts i am about to order from them. would like honest opinions, u will not hurt my feelings, please be honest. part1. full exhaust kit- http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1082 part2. CAI kit- http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=938 part3. underdrive pulley kit- http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1016 3. what type of rwhp would i put down with all three of those also, i have a diablosport predator which after those three mods i will get a custom 93 octane tune to acompany them. rwhp #'s? 4. how will the rear end and drivetrain hold up if i stop with those mods and do the occasional track days? thank u in advance and i hope to have sum input on this. blain |

415 - 420 rwhp or so if it's an LS3. About 370-380 rwhp if it's an L99. Of course that's all basic estimate.
You'll probably want a dyno tune or at least a custom tune from someone like Jannetty Racing. The canned tunes out of a Diablo will get you close but you'll want it fine tuned. The rear end should hold up just fine with that kind or HP. You'll probably need some Trailing Arms for the track though. They'll help you get rid of the wheel hop you'll more than likely have. Keep researching the different headers, exhaust, and CAI. There are plenty out there and everyone has there own opinions about what works best. Don't jump the gun and go buy the first thing your read about. There are plenty of Mfgs and vendors that you have options with. There are also tons of threads on here about this stuff.....just use the search feature. You can see in my sig what I choose. The only difference would be going with 1 7/8" if I was buying LTs new. I got such a smoking deal on a set of 1 3/4" I was willing to give up a few HP to save about $1k. I will say that adding headers, tune, exhaust will really wake up your car.
