Exhaust upgrade advice.

I was thinking about upgrading my exhaust and headers to the Borla 1 3/4 long tube headers and the borla atak cat back exhaust. should i get these and if i do what high flow cats should i go with? and if i dont go with these what setup do you recommend?

Not to jump the thread - but does anyone have any experience with the GM performance exhaust? HP, sound, etc . . . .

Any new Vert applications yet?

As far as mids/high flow cats, I've heard nothing but great things on Solo high flow cats. I've got a Corsa catback, and I'm ordering Solos this weekend. Good luck with whatever you decide! Borla Atak sounds a bit like diarrhea to me lol...my buddy has one.

I have the Kooks 1 7/8 headers and Kooks high flow cats, x pipe, and mufflers. Love the quality and the sound.

I would consider looking at a set of 1 7/8 headers that come with high flow cats. These engines really like the 1 7/8 primary and you won't have to sweat finding cats. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.

Do you have a video clip of what your exhaust system sounds like. and did you have to get it tuned.

@mrh923 Boral ATAK sounds like diarrhea? Please, every time I go down the road, all I get are thumbs up... I guess people like the sound of diarrhea.... IMO, you can never go wrong with Borla, especially ATAKs...nothing sounds better. Corsa sounds good also, but a little soft for my taste...Everytime I pass my wife on the freeway, she gets home and yants me in the bedroom....Borla works for her, and it really works for me!

I tend to agree with Chase I'd look for a 1 7/8" collecter setup...

Now, having said that PQ has Borla all the way back without cats, and made really good power considering he dyno'd it with 22's

So, if you don't want, American Racing Headers, Kooks, or Stainless works, Borla is not a bad choice.
