HEAD/CAM L99 450 RWHP DRAG RADIAL TIME

What times are you guys running in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile? L99 with head and cam 450 rwhp and 315 wide 18" drag radials. On a side note race weight is 3800 lbs with me in the car.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say 11.5 give or take a .10. At 375 RWHP I was able to do a 12.2 in the 1/4. That was on drag radials

Depends on the DA. I would say 11.50-60 easy. It depends on what converter you are running.

Im looking at the LIVERNOIS 2C blower cam......what size stall should I get? I was under the impression that the stock converter would be fine.

If you are going with a blower the stock converter is fine for mid to low 11's. If you buy a converter go with a 2400-2600.

How much HP/TQ do you think the stock torque converter can hold?

what did you do to shed 350lbs? w/ 450rwhp and 3800lbs you should be trapping 120mph. ET w drag radials would range between 11.8-11.0 depending on driver. are you gonna be on stock gearing and axles?

Probably going to want at least a 2600 - 2800 convertor. I was looking at that cam also... Here's the thread and what I ultimately went with...

I'll be hitting the track on Sat w/ 18" DR's so should have some numbers to share then

I am getting the 2c cam installed as we speak with Precision Vigilante 2400 TC as recommended by Livernois. You can fun that cam without aftermarket TC but it will have some surge.

I weighed the car on local scale. With coldairinductions CAI jba high flow cats and resonator and muffler delete and a half tank of gas the weight was 3780 lbs. So minus the following washer bottle 10lbs air pump in trunk 6lbs racing brakes rotors 24lbs 18" forgestar f14 52lbs xtreme innovations k member 32lbs and xa coilovers 30lbs. Total is
3780-154=3626lbs and I weigh around 175 lbs so that's how I did it
