Repair Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I had my truck washed through one of those automatic car washes and this wasnt the first time. Well I think the blower dislodged one of weatherstripping because now it feels liek the window is open when I am driving and the wind noise is crazy. All the weather stripping looks like it is in place. Any ideas?

A couple of thoughts;

A. When closed, are all the windows "seated" properly?

B. Check that the weatherstrip is "tight". The weatherstrip on my Jeep tends to come loose at times and using the palm of my hand, I push against it to tighten it against the channel.

close the doors with a dollar bill in the gap...see if you can pull the bill out. When you find the spot where the bill slides out easily, you've found your problem spot.

Oh and yes from what I can see the windows are seated properly.

check your back windows if they open or not if they open (flap out) then check to see if thats busted or not & see if thats closed tight.

also another thing is have someone in the truck blowing some kind of air around the window seals & you out side with a bottle of soapy water.
