Yellow 2LT (mostly) at Jacksonville Auto Show (pictures and video)

So I noticed a video up on youtube showing that you could actually sit in the car so I decided to make the trek to Jacksonville from Orlando (there's no football on TV so what else is there to do on a Saturday lol).

They basically let attendees have free reign over the car. I really enjoyed getting to go through every little bit of the car. The car is a CTF car but is missing the proper door/dash inserts. I asked one of the GM people who actually knew what he was talking about (the rest didn't) and he said the same thing we keep hearing about ABL and that he wasn't sure why this car didn't have the silver urethane inserts instead of the black cloth. (edit: he found out for us and posted later in this thread that the silver inserts WILL be on the final cars but they didn't have it ready to put on this car). I brought my Zune with me and plugged it in and played with it. This feature is reeally cool.

Anywho, here's the full slide show but I'll post a few of my favorites.

And the YouTube video. Just done with my digital camera which isn't all that good at pictures nonetheless video so I apologize about the quality.

Hah. It was random that it happened to be them but I agree. They're definitely pretty damn good. I saw them in concert here not all that long ago and they put on a sick show even though all of them were hammered lol.

****** awesome stuff there!!! This makes me feel a little better after missing those videos that got pulled yesterday. I think you've had the best auto show experience out of anyone out there. Congrats on getting to play with the car so much.

I love that once you have the Zune (or in my case, iPhone) hooked up, you no longer have to handle the device. You can control everything from the dash/steering wheel so you can tuck the device away in the center console. Super sweet.

Question for you- - -where is the USB plug port ??? I didn't see any wires to the stereo??? DO we know for sure if we can use a jump drive?!? You have no idea how much this would make my life so much more easier!! No burning cd's, no more compilation mp3 cd's, no scratched up discs, steering wheel controls?!?!?

Good job!!!

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....
