saw it at the dealer today and i must say although im not a convertible kind of guy it did look nice. price tagged @ $50,444 HOLY CRAP! if the vert is 50k the ZL-1 will be ridiculous!

Probably some dealers out there who won't stiff you just because it's a vert.

Not surprised, my loaded vert on order comes in at around $50,270 MSRP

You must of ordered the upgraded wheel package to get it to 50grand. I just built a fully loaded 2ss vert and it toped out a just over $43,500. I would have never bought my camaro if it would have cost anywhere near what you guys are paying.

Terry Labonte Chevy here in Greensboro just got a 'vert in and it's a loaded 2ss and it's stickered at $45K.

when it's something special and rare, you will always see "market adjusted price" next to the window sticker with a different price.

Seriously though, 50k is a hefty tag to pay for having one of the first verts..... Bet you come back mid winter and find that car for much much less.

You'd be doing yourself a HUGE favor by canceling that order. While 21's may/may not look nicer than the 20's, the price of tires for the 21in wheels is rediculous. It would be better to order it with the regular MS 20's, then buying a set of aftermarket 20's or 22's. Tire assortment and price are much better. Not many tire manufacturer make a good 21in tire for our car, therefore they go for a premium.

I was in Munday Chevy here in Houston monday. They had an IBM vert for 54,000 2ss. Talk about mark up?

I'm sure you can look forward to some dealers marking up the ZL1's for a while too. Just depends if the dealer is a good dealer or just one that is more money hungry figuring people will pay the mark up price.
