OOOOoooooooOOooooWee!...Just installed my CAI!

Some of you may recall I am the one who posted a question a few days ago about slow throttle response when you goose the pedal in neutral. Well I just installed my Roto FaB CAI today and that pretty much took care of that. I can definatley see a difference in reponse and hear the roar under the hood. All in all anyone wanting to add on performance this should be one not to be overlooked. What I can't figure out is why doesn't GM just add these things as stock? My car felt like it had asthma before this mod.
Now is my car a muscle car now?....no. But its still a quick fun to drive sports coupe with just enough power to have some fun. One thing I know is that what this car lacks is torque. Once rolling it likes to wind out but the low down grunt is missing because of lack of torque. Add about 312 lbs of torque to go along with the 312 hp annd this car would be a real performing muscle car.

it's the best performance mod for the buck, the motor will loosen up a bit as well after a couple thousand miles, you'll notice that too.

The silencer in the intake tract is what causes the obstruction. They do that because not everyone who drives these wants the added noise. They were going to offer a CAI, but I don't know if it ever came out. It would be nice if we didn't have to buy the big black plastic box and get it replaced from the factory but it's not going to happen.

I laugh because you said enough. We never have enough when it comes to power.
Oh, and congrats on waking it up.
