Would it be a SIN to do this to my ss1?

Unfortunately, this is my primary vehicle, no more pick-up to dog out.

I'm thinking about getting this bad ass puppy, a great dane and bull mastiff mix. These dogs easily get to 150lbs+.

Would it be a SIN to have this beast ride in the small rear seat of my other beast? Considering the cloth seats as well.
These dogs do shed and drool, alot!

At least you have cloth - can you imagine the damage dogs nails would do to leather??
That said, the dog might not be real comfortable in the back seat - get a smaller dog. For the dog's sake...
I refuse to let my dogs (a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler) in the Camaro - that's one of the reasons I kept my SUV.

hhhmmm i dunno i love dogs. but i got small ones that don't drool. If they did drool alot i probably wouldn't be cruising around with them in it too much.

Probably not the best vehicle to use to transport a 150lb dog, is it.
It's your car though, so do what thou will.
If I had to endure such a beast, the back seat would be shrouded first in plastic sheeting, with a thick rug on top.

No f$$$ing way. I have a Doberman, weighs about a buck ten. No way that dog gets in my camaro.

Think about the nails. Like claws, even though I trim them once a week myself. They'd tear the $hit outbox your car just by moving around to get comfy.

Use the dog to guard the car, not ride in it. Better off getting a trunk monkey.

I would advise against big dogs unless you were to make something for him to lay down on.

My dog loves car rides he is 15 pounds and does not shed at all .
( dog named king, his breed is a peke poo)

Remove the back seat and store it safely somewhere. Cut to fit and install indoor/outdoor carpet in the back. Build a carpeted plywood platform in the back if you are handy with carpentry.
This is what the K9 cops do.

trust me, I have a great dane and will not put him in my car. Besides, I think a large dog would have a difficult time getting into and out of the back seat. Not to mention, i don't think he'll be very comfortable in the rear due to headroom.

Put socks on his feet and hang a catch bucket around his neck and let him ride.
