Small original SS emblem on heritage grill. how have you mounted yours?
First off, I know about clean cut creations. while theres is ok. Im leary of just taping their bracket on since thats all that holds it. in all honesty, why not just tape the ss emblem on and save the $30 for their bracket. Im not really keen on either way though. Anyone come up with a way to mount it with something that tightens so it wont move or dislodge? pics would be great, specifics too
help a fellow member out guys thanks |

I wouldn't worry about it. That 3M tape is pretty serious stuff. It's held the emblem on my heritage grill for 6 months now.

I think the emblem is wide enough to hit 2 of the framing rails of the grille. just not sure how it would hold up that way..... |

Mine is from CLean Cut Creations. The emblem itself comes mounted on a plastic mounting plate and that has 2 strips of 3M tape on it. It's just tall enough to stick on two two rails of the heritage grill.

Check out Sparks Restorations. They have complete SS emblems made of billet aluminum with a steel mounting bracket made for the Heritage Grille, They are kinda pricey, but worth the $$$. It's also a larger emblem so you can install it in place of the bowtie.

I am well aware of clean cuts plate. But for $30 with shipping, I will be seeing if the emblem is wide enough to do the same thing with and save the money.
