CAI Installed!

Big thanks to Maryland Speed for sending this out to me fast... When I say fast I mean that I got an email saying they shipped it out at 5PM and UPS was at my door the next day at 1 PM. I can't say enough about their Customer Service.

I installed this in my garage fairly quick. The instructiuons were clear and the quality of this system is second to none. I've installed different brands of CAI's on all of my previous cars and I've never felt this much of a difference before on my butt dyno.

Now on to the good stuff:

The exact one I'm looking at. Install looks great and the Black Powedercoat looks awesome.

I think you just made up my mind for me.

Any dislikes about it?

Honestly the only dislike I have was you have to use a supplied shrink tubing for the crankcase breather tube. In reality its no big deal, but if I want to remove the system and go back to stock if I have to bring the car in for service I'd have to get more shrink wrap.

You can run one section of hose all of the way and get rid of the hard line completely. Just be careful of the routing so it isn't able to make contact with the pulley/belt.

And that black versin of the CAI is beautiful.

Wow! If I had seen this before I bought mine, I would have gone for the black powder coat! That looks amazing!
