a check engin light just came up in my car i'm worried what are they for

P0851 AND P219B can some one please help my with them

P0851 - Park/Neutral Switch Input Circuit Low

Stand by - I did find this:

Cylinder (Air-Fuel Ratio) Imbalance DTC P219A / P219B = Bank 1 AFR Imbalance / Bank 2 AFR Imbalance.
ECM monitors the Difference in A/F Ratio between each Cylinder on Bank1 / on Bank 2.

This means that air fuel ratio on one bank compared to the other is not equal.

The first thing to do is to reset the code and see if it returns because these are often false alarms.

I'm not sure, but I think because that switch is shorted to ground, you can actually engage the starter while your car is in gear. You could test it, but you want to make sure there's nothing around your car before bumping the key to the start position.

Or you could just take it to the dealer. That's probably the better option if it's under warranty.

Then again, it could be the parking brake switch. Does the parking brake light come on when you have it engaged?

What if the air fuel code returns? My car is doing this now. I erased the code and it came back. Seems to be a bank 1 code.

I'm having the same problem p219a and p219b came on my zl1 after I installed upper pulley, tb, injectors, CAI AND a tune. Idk what's causing it to do that my tuner couldn't figure it out.
