I put gas in the car today and the dude at the pump next to me said, "Beautiful car." THEN>>> says, "Oh, I thought it was a Mustang."

I mean i can kinda see how some people could see a mustang but the challenger looks closer to a camaro than a mustang. Mustangs are also far more prevalent so it would have been a good guess by him i suppose based on numbers.

I heard it once from a Burger King employee. She said beautiful car, I thought it was a Mustang at first. Then she said this looks better than a Mustang.

I've gotten most of my compliments in fast food drive-thru it seems. I got 3 in one drive through last week.. lol

He was trying to flirt with you... but not being a gear-head or a car-guy or whatever, he didn't have a freakin clue what your car was. He had a golden opportunity to impress you by actually looking close for a make and model name first, but he blew it.
