Hood Pins

Anyone put hood pins on their car? What type did you get? Stick on or drill through hood?

Prepare for the flaming. I personally do not understand why someone would want hood pins when our hoods have a latching mechanism. I really can only see having them if it is a necessity.

I heard of a Chinese company making a stick on supercharger too...

To the OP, If you've gotta have pins, go with real ones...fake is just uhhh... a waste.

Hah, thats too much. I imagine someone doing that and putting "Supercharged" emblems all over the place.

OP, I can't tell ya what to do since it's not my car or what have you.. But, stick ons are pretty pointless. They may give your car more aesthetics, but no functionality whatsoever. Forbid anyone asks you to pop your hood and finds that your pins are fake!! That might be embarrassing.

I put hood pins (real) on one of my cars in my early hot rodding days...thought it would look cool. I regretted it. Ruined a perfectly good hood.
