Fitted a Whipple Supercharger to my 2SS over the weekend - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone,

well I had a busy weekend ... I fitted a Whipple SC kit along with BBK Headers to my 2011 2SS Manual. I was already running Cold Air Inductions CAI, ADM Race Scoop, GM Performance Exhaust, Hurst Billet Comp Plus Shifter.

I can not recommend the Whipple Kit highly enough ... it is AWESOME! So well put together, excellent detailed instructions, labeled bags with individual hoses, wiring etc ... and the hand-held tuner with the custom Whipple tune set up for my configuration.

I started Friday night and had the car running Sunday night ... so a big job, but very satisfying knowing I did it all myself.

And how does it go? WOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Congrats!
You should get a custom tune just to be on the safe side with those mods (Headers and CAI).

Exactly. You "might" be leaning out. Other than that, great kit and congrats to your install. Looks very nice though!

Thanks! How did you get your bend for your Cold Air Inductions CAI to be so perfect? I've had to cut mine and use a flexible pipe.

Very carefully and slowly ... on and off ... marking with electrical tape, slowly trimming with a fine hand saw, filing, scraping with a blade, sanding with 1200, then using touch up paint along the edge. I spent about 5 hrs on it.
