It has a lot of ZDDP and Moly and no detergents. The high levels of ZDDP would wreck havoc on our catalytic converters. It is a Group V synthetic (ester based). From readings elsewhere, it is pretty much a clone of Redline. About all it is good for is a day full of racing and then it would need changed. At $15 a quart, that is just ignoranus.

A group IV synthetic (PAO base) with a splash of Group V technology is actually better than a Ester Base only oil. That is what makes Amsoil the best "Real" synthetic oil on the market. You just have to get over their marketing/selling/buying bullarky first.

Good summary! Great in our non emmisions drag motors, but not good for cat equipped cars. We use it in our 1000 hp alky fueled drag motors and in classic muscle car rebuilds but not in modern cat equipped.
