That's because he will be traded within a week. How can a this team suck when they have 24 Stanley Cups and fill the Bell Center every game win or lose

That's not that difficult to do when you only competed with 5 other teams for 18 of those cups. Not to mention the scam they had going until the '80's where they got first dibs on all the french players.

Back in the day there were more good french players then good english players. They didn't have europeans in the NHL back then either. Not so today though. Only thing I would say today is that Quebec gives the NHL the best goalies (Brodeur, Roy, Luongo).
