Going Black
I recently had a set of factory 20's powder coated flat black. I wanted to share some pictures and maybe get some input on what you guys think of them.
This is what my car looked like before... While the wheels were at the powder coater I took the center caps off and taped off the bowties and spray painted them black as well. I think they turned out rather nice. I had the powder coater guy send me some pics as he progressed.....Here is the wheels after they were stripped and blasted. And now a pic right out of the oven... All 4 from the powder coater....He did a really good job on them. I think the center caps really make the wheel. Thanks to my beautiful girlfriend for being the hand model holding the wheel from rolling away. Then at the Tire shop getting the NT05's mounted on the new wheels. I went with the wider 20x9.5's all the way around. I snapped a pic with one of each wheel on the car for comparison. And the finished product. Now I just have to wait for my PFADT drop springs and sway bars to get here so I can them installed. Can't wait to get back out on the track!! Last edited by Big Brunsy; 08-04-2011 at 12:45 PM. |
