Question on RX catch can and seeing oil?

Changed the TB out to the VMax and seen Oil in side the intake tube and manifold. Has the RX catch can installed. Is that oil from before the can was installed?? L99. Wiped the tube and the front of the intake out before putting Vmax on. Old TB did not have any oil in it, that was pulled and cleaned when can went on. Just wounding what you all think? Sea foam was put in the tank after the can went on. Could the guy that installed the can on have put the hoses on wrong? I want to check the 2 hoses to make sure they are going to where they should go, can someone post a link to instructions or post a pic please? Thank you!!!

PM me your email & I'll send you the diagrams. Did you go with the breather option? If so there should be no oil on the TB. If not it will let oil in in front of the TB via the fresh air tube.

The line from the center of the can should go to the manifold, and the line coming from the PCV valve (off-center of the can) should go to the T/B.

I checked down my TB about 200 miles after installing my can and it was "dry", so I'm thinking something isn't right. Not to point out the obvious, but the can isn't full and just needs drained is it?

Here is the installation photo of mine. The colored lines help illustrate the routing of the hose from the PCV valve to the catch can, and from the can to the throttle body.

cool, looks just like that. Must be just left over oil from before the can was put on.
