center console arm rest height
I am not comfortable with the height of the center arm rest. I would like it to be about two inches higher. The upholstery wrapped top is held on by 6 screws. I am in the process of replacing those screws, with longer ones and some 2 inch long aluminum tubing spacers. to get the height i want. there will be a visible gap when i am done, which I plan to cover. ( not sure how) it would be nice to have a (plastic injection moulded) spacer kit with some led light ports (for the heck of it) built in. until some one offers this product i will just have to wing it. i will post pics soon.

pics of the mock up
these pics are of the first spacers i made. i am going to shorten them to two inches and see how it feels. when i get the height correct i will then work hiding the gap.
