for those waiting for delivery...check your tonneau during inspection

For those waiting for delivery, when you are inspecting make sure to see that your tonneau bolts have been installed. After waiting for 5 days and vague status from the dealer about the convertible prep, mine was not done correctly. There are bolts that are in the tonneau bag that are suppose to be part of a dealer prep procedure. I was wondering why my tonneau didn't seem secure and was concerned it would blow off. As I read and researched more I found the problem. The bolts were still in the bag in the trunk. There is a specific service bulletin about this dealer procedure. There is a posting on this with the detailed service bulletin procedure. You may want to make sure your dealership knows about it. From the comments my dealership made they appear to still be in training on vert prep procedures and are not experienced to know what to do.

I will post the reference I found in this forum...

I was going to say, my cover has no problem staying on and I was cruising at a mere 93mph. It didn't buffet or anything

Unfortunately, until someone finds the bolts and asks what they are, your dealer won't know about them. There is no reference to them in the prep paperwork. It's a learning experience.
