SS Front Bumper conversion

Has anyone with a V6 done this conversion? I like the front much better than the V6 and need to get my front end re-painted so I am trying to see who has done this and how well it fit?

I just finished doing this after my car was backed into over the winter!

Perfect fit, no problems what so ever!

I thought about it briefly, but I actually like the V-6 front end a tad better.

The color is perfect but that's not the whole story!

The fender had a small dent as well so it was totally replaced.

The shop I used was so anal that they painted the whole hood over, plus all stripping re done, blended the door and the top and side of the other fender as well. Sim is impossible to just panel match!!! But I can tell you this...the bumpers never match the rest of the car perfect anyway mine does in the front now because all parts were painted at the same time.
When my car came from the factory it was slightly off do to the fact the bumpers, mirrors and gas tank cover door are painted elsewhere.

If you only have damage on your bumper I would just paint the bumper, because if you look at your front and rear bumpers now I'm sure they are slightly lighter or darker anyway.

There are 3 additional parts needed besides the bumper'

1-mail slot grill
2-lower SS grill
3-lower air dam rubber strip(SS bumper is 2 inches wider)

Hope this helps!

I prefer the V6 front end better. It is the original design for this car (other than the mail slot, our bumper is almost exactly the same as the concept) and the lines flow better with the rest of the car. The SS front end is very squared off and doesnt flow well with the hood and the rest of the car.
