OEM body kit question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I want to get a body kit for my 2011 LS and i like the gm body kit but $2000 is way to much for me so i started looking for other body kits. I looked on ebay to see if they had any good body kits and they have an oem body kit for $800 and its free shipping. Says that side skirts and rear valance will fit both v8 and v6 models but the front valance is only for the v8. So my question do you know if the front valance could fit the v6? Would it be because it is to wide for the v6 or something like that? Or just because the bolts go in different places than the v6? If its because the bolts go in different places i could probably just drill through it, cant i? All comments are appreciated.

No the V8 and V6 front bumper are totally different, the splitter from a V8 will not fit the V6 bumper it's not only the bolts That are different.

I am also looking to get the OEM body kit put on my 2011 2SS/RS. How do they cost and what's the best options price wise?

also that is not a oem body kit it is oe style. a different company copied the design and made it out of a cheaper material. but it is not the one from GM.

Keep checking eBay or Craig's list for body kits. That's how I got mine. ..... And cheap

Keep an eye on the 4-sale threads here. I've seen the OEM kits go for half the dealership price.

Check with becky@Rodgers also. They offer the lowest dealership prices I've seen on grills and spoilers.
