Camaro In Storage - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello everyone, I am deployed overseas and will return home in 3 1/2 months. I stored my Camaro 2010 1SS/6M inside a RV storage building on jack stands. I fill the gas tank with 100% gasoline 91 octane (not the alcohol mix). I also disconnected the battery and had the oil changed right before I stored her. When my car is pull my out of storage it will have sat for 1 year. Is the anything that needs to do when connecting the battery and starting her again. My fiancee will be bring the Camaro to me at FT Hood; so she will be putting 400 miles on her just after it is pulled out of storage. Should it go to the dealership for a check up first? She has 3161 miles on her. Any info would be helpful.

Once you disconnect the battery the windows will obviously stop working. You might consider bumping the drivers side window down a crack before you disconnect the battery. Otherwise you will have difficulty opening the door with the battery disconnected. The window will not drop down and it will stay tucked up under the weatherstrip. Just a thought.
