I'm kinda thinking it may be easier to just scrape off the double sided tape and epoxy it on. I'll check with C.A.I. First

You can use a silicon based product to reinstall it or some more double sided tape....

I don't think double sided tape is gonna hold if it didn't this time. I live in Vegas so I have a feeling the heat may be eating the adhesive.

What color is the tape? The tape we use is the same stuff use to hold on ground affects and badges from the factory. At one point we had an issue with the glass releasing moisture causing the bond to fail. We worked with 3m for a solution and haven’t had an issue since. Give us a call tomorrow before 5pm EST and we'll take care of you. -James

Take off the old tape. Clean it good and reapply tape making sure to have no air pockets and reseal. Should hold up fine.

If you re tape use 3m adhesion promoter, and it will be forever stuck.

Use this:

Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or 1 part scotch (on the car) to 3 parts (down the gullet).
