In my limited experience, I would think a vibration like that (at certain speeds) is due to a balance issue.

Could be a variety of things.

1. bad balancing job
2. out-of-round tire
3. out-of-round or bent wheel (Boss are low quality)

Centering rings rarely help improve things, as our lug nuts are conical and sort of center the wheel themselves. They do not hurt, however. Have the shop re-check the balance on the front wheels if the steering wheel is shaking. Also look at them while they spin on the balancing machine, see if they wobble or anything.

Do you still have your stock rims? Change them back in the mean time. I have vibrations too, makes you while waiting for a replacement part
