Any V6 orders with a Target Build Date?

Any one have a V6 (in the USA) preferenced for build?

That is not dealer stock?

dealer just emailed me and said My order would be accepted on March 5th.

That was the point of thread............. To determine if it is "stock" or presold that are on constraint.

I went to call my dealer after my wife got off the phone and the only thing I found out is the hours that they are opened. I will check with my dealer tomorrow and see where I'm at on the list. I know there are a ton of people ahead of me and also a few that don't weight that much. J/K

I ordered mine in late December. I ordered a 2LT RS IOM with the IO interior trim package. I also switched to polished and no stripes back to Midnight Silver and black stripes. I may even change it again before it's all over. LOL

I did get great news from work tonight though and found out that we are in great shape as far as the economy is going.

Ok from what I have been told the Dealer cars are not STOCK cars, they are not SOLD cars, they are in a catagory all to themselves.

Dealers at this point cannot order STOCK V6 cars. that is cars that they want to just sit on their lots. BUT they Can order SOLD V6 cars. These cars will be mixed in with the Dealer cars. Most dealers right now see the constraint on the V6 coming through and think they can't order ANY V6 cars, GM needs to inform them to submit their SOLD V6 orders as they come up just as the SS orders are.....
I may be wrong but a little birdie told me this information and I believe him...

Talked to my sales manager and he said he's been told. He can place an order for a sold V6. His no. 1 was an SS and mine is next, he said it should go no problem. So at least he's one thats informed!

That is the best description of the situation I think so far and makes the most sense.

Yep, I think yours is going to go when you were told. I got a call from the Sales manager telling me that his no.1 was pulled and I was up next. I asked about the V6 constraint and he said he's had conversation with GM about that issue and he's been told thats a non issue.
