Got my new havoc wheels today, but...

First off let me say that I ordered from Josh at RPI on Monday. He had them drop shipped to me directly and they arrived in two days. RPI out quoted everyone I called/e-mailed/pm'ed... there were alot! So I was happy with all of that.

:(
1) So I unpack the wheels to inspect them and first one has a big ding! Not a good start.
2) Also the finish isn't as good as I was hoping (not smooth everywhere, but realize these are cast aluminum and not super expensive wheels. The main areas are nice and smooth though.
3) Lastly my eyes aren't that good, but these don't look like black chrome to me from pics I've seen. The picture actually makes them look a bit darker.

I've e-mailed/PM'ed Josh at RPI and sent an e-mail to the company they shipped from who I think makes them (or they are the distributor?).

I attached some pics. Please let me know your opinions on the color and if anyone has had my same concerns.

WELL , when you take pics from chrome whatever do not take it with any kind of reflective material close by , ie plastic , it will show as a defect on the chrome plating , and yes when one pays peanuts there is a good chance that will get monkeys ,bottom feeders feed off the bottom !

Send them back they don't look like black chrome, and they are dented. They should have never sent them that way.

These look like just chrome to me, and I don't think it was worth trying to save some money on these compared to the others u mentioned. The quality of the wheels you got looks really bad. I would send them back and buy elsewhere.

Those do not look like black chrome to me either, it look like they made them black & chrome with black inside the hub and chrome on the face.

The ding isn't a big deal, the tire rim protection rib will hide that.

Problem is being taken care of. They were ordered in bright chrome instead of black chrome. But my new, hopefully undented, black chrome Havoc wheels are shipping today!

Big thanks to Josh @ RPI for getting this resolved so quickly. Great customer service. I highly recommend dealing with him and RPI.

New wheels arrived today!... undented and look 100 X better than the bright chrome from a finish standpoint.
