Does this make sense? Or am I being played?

I was told today that my event code is now 2000....but that I have a TPW of March 23..

Is it possible to have a TPW while my car is still only at 2000?

I want to know if I am being played because I am getting very suspicious of my dealer lately.

I can tell you this, if it's supposed to be the date your car is built. Sounds like your dealer is trying to keep you motivated. I wouldn't say you're being played though.

OK, Targeted Production Week.
Something does seem funny. But maybe your event will improve over the next week. They may be planning to build at full speed.

TPW = Target Production Week
I am at 1100 but my dealer said I'll be pulled the week of 3/12. What I don't know is how many days it takes for each step in the process (ie. moving from 2000-3400).

I type too slow, 2 replies before I could type this response.

Go to the dealer with your order workbench. Talk to the inventory manager. Make him show you on GMglobalconnect.com the status of your car. That will show everything. If they won't do that find out why.

If your order is going to be placed next Tuesday, you can see the order in Pass One today. That will show you a TPW of 3/23.

Stop with the event codes already. You guys are gonna aggravate yourselves to death.

If some of the other pulls are any example of the time it takes to" advance" it is about 10 days to two weeks. That is unless they speed it up somehow as production draws nearer.

Then according to this...I am on track for my car to be built as they said...
