A/C and Heater Controls NOT Working!

Not sure if this is the correct section for this topic.
Tonight, I got into my car and decided to put on the heat since it was a little cold out at 11p tonight. Well NO heat was coming out.. Just super cold air... I tried to change the vent selection, but that wouldn't change either... it just stayed on the main front vents. I tried the defroster, feet vents, etc, but nothing worked..

Anyone have this happen to them??
I even pulled over, turned off the car and took the key out and sat for about 2 mins. Turned the car back on and still no luck :(

Thanks,
Allen

I'd check for blown fuses. Maybe you'll get lucky and just had a weak fuse blow.

If you can't find a blown fuse, or replace one and it blows again....best bet would probably be the dealer/service dept.

Allen,

I had a similar occurrence a few months back. I just let the car sit overnight and the next day everything worked.

You may wanna consider a fuse pull or disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.......

Glad to see it wasn't anything major. If you have any other problems you can contact me as well. Thank you for your time.

I'm having the same problem. My heater does not seem to work at all so I only get cool/cold air. I will check my fuses and edit my post...

edit: fuses all looked perfect.

Can anyone help me? I have a 2012 RS

Sounds like a design problem seeing as more than one person has it. You may want to contact GM about it.

I can check your VIN to see if there are any programs available on your vehicle. Also, it looks like you might be under warranty to get this addressed.

I look forward to your reply.

Currently, I am not showing any open programs available on your VIN, however, it looks likes you may be under the bumper to bumper warranty depending on how many miles you currently have on your vehicle. I would definitely get this addressed by a dealership.

I went to my dealership and my heater was fixed. The wires were not seated properly.
