Smile New member in market for a Camaro or a 392 Challenger

Hey I just signed up here and I'm in the market for a new car and I'm kinda indecisive of either getting the 2011 Camaro SS RS or the new 392 Challenger SRT8 . I need your guys opinion of which car to get as in tuning-wise, performance and the best sounding because I will be modding my new car 100% inside and out

Well posting on this forum I can tell you that you will get close to 100% votes for the camaro for obvious reasons. Best advice I can give you is to simply get whichever car you like the best. Whether it be for looks, mod options, brand, etc. The Challenger is a nice car. If all else fails..flip a coin.

If you can afford an extra 10-15G get the 392. It's a really nice car but it's HEAVY. Don't get me wrong the Camaro is AWESOME too. Drive them both...

If money is no object, the 392 is quite the car. If you can wait, you should look into getting the ZL1 Camaro because that will be one heck of a performance car.

If you plan on heavily modding the car, I'd stay away from the 392 because that car is meant to look retro, and adding too much body kit stuff will detract from what makes it valuable.

Money is not a problem, I can afford the cars + modding even if I have to throw in $50,000 on modding, I don't mind. I bought my current BMW for $66,000 Cash and I will do the same when I get my new car. However both Dodge and Chevy dealerships here are idiots and overpriced, the new camaro ss rs convertible's price tag is $70,000 !! and the dealer current has 1 2010 Hennessey camaro for $150,000 ?!?! Is it reallly worth that much ?? Plus the god damn dealer doesn't even know what a "Ground effects" kit is !

Ahhh... Kuwait.
You're gonna get ripped off no matter which way you go.
You may save a bundle buying the car of choice in the USA and shipping it overseas.

What are you aiming for appearance-wise?
Cause while the Challenger looks blunt "all terrain ready" mean.... the Camaro has a naural "sophisticated yet sexy" look.

Performance wise... they are pretty much on par, with the new 392 adding much-needed agression to the Challenger. If you're gonna be modding however, this makes little difference.

You could also wait a few months and get the much sought-after 550hp'd ZL-1.
No mods needed there!

If money is not an option why not wait for the ZL1 Camaro
