Chevrolet Military Appreciation Month

GM Military Discount Expanded
From May 1st through the 31st, the GM Military Discount is being expanded to include Military Retirees and their Spouses. During this time, Active Military, Reservists, National Guard & Spouses, as well as Retired Military Members & their Spouses will be eligible for a special Military Discount toward the purchase or lease of a new Chevrolet.

Commemorative Honor Badge
Every eligible GM Military-Discount consumer who purchases, leases or orders a new Chevrolet vehicle in May can also request a complimentary Honor Badge which can be placed on their new Chevrolet. This Honor Badge will be shipped to customers separately after they take delivery of their vehicle. Customers will be instructed to contact their Chevrolet dealership’s service department to schedule a convenient appointment to have their Honor Badge installed at no charge.

For every Honor Badge ordered with a vehicle
during National Military Appreciation Month:

Chevrolet will make a $100 donation to “Cell Phones for Soldiers”,
enabling troops serving away from home to keep in touch with their loved ones.

Every year I buy a car in April and GM does this in May... someday I'll learn...

Kudos for their support to the Military past and present...

When I went to the honor badge website link to order badges, I had to put in my VIN and when I did it said that it was not a valid 2011-2012 VIN. I guess they did not make it open to 2010 as of yet and I believe it is tied more to Go codes used during the month of May because the discount applies to retirees and spouses this month also. I submitted an order anyways, I figured lets see what happens. It stated that order would be pending cofirmation of program requirments.
By the way the website to go to Honor badge link is www.honorbadge.programhq.com

What about us Vets that did our time but did not retire? Are we just yesterdays garbage? We should get a discount as well.

I just bought a new truck last month too but I'd be happy to donate as well. I served 26 years 25 days in the Air Force.
