Has anyone purchased from Sonic Electronix (sonicelectronix.com)? I am pondering upon purchasing 2 JL W6's and the JL 750 HD amp to save some money instead of purchasing from a shop.

yep, lots of times... never had a problem with them, the support has always been there on the few times I thought I needed them.

What is this about the warranty rumors I hear? Say I buy the JL amp and two subs and they somehow do not work. Would I be screwed or will I get the proper service to make sure I have a fine working JL product as I intended to buy?

Awesome company to use.. As long as the product is new it will come with a warranty card... most of their stuff arrives really quick too.

I used them for both my cars. I am biased though as I can walk in to there store in Valencia if I gave problems. The only issue I had was with some dvd headrests for my Charger and they dealt with it quickly and to my satisfaction!

Like a lot of companies are doing these days, JL audio's warranty is only valid if purchased through an "authorized" retailer. You're going to be paying full retail or close to it to get warranty coverage.

I've bought stuff from them, no issues.
