That would be stupid, it's not a ZL1. There's no point to clone.

Yeah but people still do it. I won't be surprised to see the body kits on SS in a 1 or 2.

I think i'll get the rear diffuser from the ZL1 before i get new exhaust. Not because i want to look like a ZL1, but because i hate the diffuser and tips on my SS.

Whats wrong with cloning, or copying an idea? That's what these cars are best for IMHO. They don't have the greatest HP, and the cost of getting them there is high. So why not get the looks? It's cheaper, and a more efficient way of spending cash.

No Clones. Nothing wrong with borrowing an Idea, but to try and pass an SS for a ZL1=NO.

The ZL1 is cloning parts off the SS.

Clone it but do not have the power to back it up and you will look like a fool when a 5.0 eats your lunch.

The only problem I have with cloning is when you actually try and pass it off as a ZL1, ex. putting ZL1 badging etc. If you just like the body kit, then I'm all for it. I personally really like the front bumper cover on the ZL1.

I thought I heard that the front facia and hood from the ZL1 weren't going to be interchangable with the SS?

I don't care about guys that put the body panels on, it's the badging that bothers the f$%k out of me. There is a first gen CTS in my neighborhood with 'V' badging, and a......... single exhaust

This is the exact reason I haven't changed the badging on my 92 rs. Yes it runs mid 11's on motor, yes it has disc brakes in the rear now, and I think it would justify putting z28 emblems on it.....but it's not a real z28, so I leave the rs emblems on it.
