the seats

why dont we just keep the back seats in the 2010 camaro convertible bench like the classics, the 69 and stuff, instead of having bucket seats...i could see that it would be good for the coupe, but the coupe is more, "imma race this person to the next light" and the convertible is more of a fun sporty kinda theme, right? so i really think the back seats should be bench seats...makes more sense to me. what do yall think?

I won't be sitting in the backseat. So I don't care.

But binch seats would be pretty cool if they wanted to do another thing to pay respect to the classic.

im not sure how high up the driveshaft tunnel comes up in the 5th gen, but I would imagine that it might be cheaper to make 2 smaller bucket seats vs 1 long bench seat. then again, you can fit 3 people in the back easier with a bench seat. and she can lay down easier with a bench seat....lol

A bench seat would have to sit higher to clear the drive shaft tunnel, reducing headroom which already pretty much doesn't exist.

It's obligatory to hook up in a new car!

I don't even care if it has a back seat. Accordiing to the measurments it's mostly worthless anyway. The GTO had a roomy back seat. I'm not sure where all the room went in the Camaro. Even the trunk is small!

I am a big boy....the lady is small....but just because of geometry and physics it aint going to be happening in the car. Especially not in the back seat.
