Choosing a paint shop suggestions...stripes

I am getting very close to start trying to locate a shop to have white rally stripes painted on my IOM car. The goal is to get the stripes painted at the exact factory rally stripe specs. I want to have them done the correct way in glossy white paint where they are flush with the rest of the paint. This means that I will need to look for good paint shop to do the work since they will need to wet sand, paint and then clear coat back over the new rally stripes. So, my question is, what kind of things should I look for when choosing a paint shop to perform the work? How long should I reasonably expect to be without the car (it's my daily driver) while the work is performed? What questions should I ask when talking with the shop about the work? Also, what have others here who have had their stripes painted on got as far as quotes on the work. I have been doing some reading and have seen people have been quoted an average price of $650 - $1000. Thanks for any suggestions and input. I want to have this done the correct way the first time. Also, it may seem to be a minor detail, but how specific should I get when choosing a shade of white for the paint? Should I just give the the paint code for the Camaro "Summit White"? Thanks.

What I would dois this, First I would deal with the OWNER of the shop, have him show you some if the work he has done. maybe he will have some test pieces they have done to show persective customers, like hoods or fenders......IF he has something with multiple colors, FEEL the line.....can you feel it, is it what YOU would expect.....and if it is, tell him THAT is what YOU expect of the job.....if not, what would it take for a finish like what YOU want. THAT is the bottom line.
