Prices have changed a little bit

I called my dealer yesterday to find out the price of my car. Since i heard they had updated the workbench with prices. I ordered a 2lt with rs appearance with auto transmission and upgrade to polished 20's. If you add it together using the pricing on this site under wiki i got a price bout 300 dollars cheaper than what i was told. So Iam not sure what went up but i am thinking it is the auto transmission for the 2lt but not sure.

Yea, auto tranny went up for 2LT/2SS. I was going to get an auto in my 2LT. NO way now. 1200 bucks plus no LSD. not for me. I can get sunroof/stripes with that money.

P.S. is anyone getting the engine cover?

What about on the LS and 1LT?
on another thread it talks about that anyone that had their order in the system before feb 18th is protected from this price increase...
Quote:
Chevrolet will announced revised 2010 model year prices for Camaro effective with vehicles produced on or after February 18, 2009. Model and option dealer discounts will be reduced. Dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly.
Sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows:
-Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase.
-GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one work day after the date of the price increase.
These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered.

Pricing for Excel 07 users only

Those of you that have and know Excel 07 take a look at the attached file.

I think it has the new prices.

You will have to do a lot of scrolling. Sorry

Choose Model from drop down.
Choose Color from drop down.
Available options will have black box with check box click to choose.
At bottom in blue shaded boxes add your neede information.
NOTE enter trades and deposits as negative numbers.

Not sure what attached I think the only way I could get it here is as a zip file.
Someone let me know if you are able to get it to work.
Thanks

price protection process

Does anyone know about the price protection process ?
As you may know they had a price increase already depending on when you order the car you are protected and are suppose to get the old price then the dealer is credited back by GM
It looks like mine went up $235.00
2SS SUNROOF BLACK 20 INCH HIGH POLISHED WHEELS
The sticker price will show the new price so you will have to get with you dealer to get the credit up front
Here are the details
DON'T PAY MORE THEN YOU NEED TO........
I am not allowed to reprint the entire message but here is the summary

File won't open for me in Excel. Has an extension of xlsm. Can you resave as straight .xls?

Thanks

I just talked to my dealer, he told me that if you are in the system and have the price quoted when you had your order placed they cannot increase the price you pay... they are locked in at the time that the order was placed.

He said a couple years a go a guy ordered a new Z06 from them, but before it was built they had a model change over and a huge price increase... they still had to honor his origonal order and sell him a year newer Z06 for the price of the year before model..

Ok, so I'm not an administrator at work so I can't install the compatibility pack on my machine to open 2007 files in 2003 Excel.
