Hey guys let's update each other with our plans for making our Camaro a straight line beast. Also we can discuss all things drag racing. On that note I wonder if I will see any 2010 body styles running in the Pro-Stock class or the Funny Car class at the Gatornationals this weekend

I think there already is a homemade Pro Stock 5th gen made to look like Bumblebee.

It will be a long time till my Camaro is a track beast. Hoping to break a 13.2 stock though. It's been a long time since I've had a fast car at the track.

I plan making mine more for straight line performance but yet still streetable.

I think we'll see them at least in Prostock or even Funny Car, since that's where Mustang has been for a long time. The last Gen. was in Funny Car too, now that I think about it.

I wouldn't say a long time (meaning you'll get the bug).... I'm going to be pushing for 8's within 4-6 weeks of actually getting the car.

I've already got everything in motion so that the day mine arrives IPSmotorsports can get a stock dyno pull on it and start my build. I have a 434ci LSX Iron block with 6 bolt ETP LS7 Heads ready to go. They are then installing a Pair of GT40 Turbo's, RPM build 4L80 Transmission, and pushing for 1400rwhp+.

Motor/Trans/Turbo is easy, only real unknown at this point is what to do on the rear end and how big of a tire can I fit under the car..

Oh and yes, this will be a 100% street car!

Delievery can't happen fast enough, I am dying to get the ball actually rolling on this car. I've waited a really long time for the Camaro to come out and build this car. Ultimate goal is 7's, but that's going to take time for aftermarket companies to catch up on lighter parts and suspension.
